Their inclusion not only attests to their scholarly standing but also reflects the expanding academic influence of the university. This accomplishment is expected to substantially bolster key institutional initiatives, including the application for a doctoral program in Mechanical Engineering, discipline-wide evaluation efforts, and the ongoing “Double First-Class” construction.
It is further reported that during the last five years, the School has formulated and actively implemented the “113474 Sci-Tech Innovation Plan,” aimed at reinforcing doctoral program development and enhancing disciplinary competitiveness. These efforts have yielded sustained breakthroughs in several areas, such as the attainment of National Key R&D Programs, grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, First Prizes in the Chongqing Municipal Science and Technology Progress Awards, and the development of Chongqing Key Laboratories.
